The Maserati Coupé (Tipo M138), produced from 2001 to 2007, marked Maserati's return to the North American market after an 11-year hiatus, with its Spyder variant debuting at the 2001 Frankfurt Auto Show and the Coupé following at the 2002 Detroit Auto Show.
Powered by a 4.2L V8 engine, the Coupé delivered 390 horsepower and up to 333 lb-ft of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed F1 (Formula One) paddle-shift transmission.
This model was a direct evolution of the 3200 GT, featuring increased displacement and refined performance, solidifying its place as a grand touring icon of the early 2000s.
