Isuzu Axiom Horsepower & Torque (2002-2004)

The Isuzu Axiom, introduced in 2001 for the 2002 model year, was Isuzu's attempt to compete in the growing car-based SUV market, replacing the Trooper as its flagship in the U.S. market.

Despite its unique styling and advanced features, it struggled to gain traction and was discontinued in 2004.

Powered by a 3.5L V6 engine, the Axiom initially delivered 230 horsepower and 230 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission.

In 2004, a direct-injection version of the engine boosted output to 250 horsepower and 246 lb-ft of torque.

The Axiom also offered a Torque-On-Demand (TOD) four-wheel-drive system, enhancing its versatility.

This model marked one of Isuzu's final original designs before transitioning to rebadged GM vehicles in North America.
